I made these for TS2, and I figured I’d go ahead and make them for TS3 while I was at it. These were originally floors from Cottage Living, but I made them into terrains. There is a terrain version of this in TS4 but it only comes in 1 color (pink), and does not match the floors (Why EA?). No transparency version only. I didn’t test this in game, so let me know if I’ve goofed something up.
I made this as a quick edit of the Beach Towel + Umbrella for myself, as I couldn’t find one that felt “medieval themed”. Please keep in mind I didn’t make this with the intent to share originally so it’s a bit “rough”. I almost forgot I made this, so I wanted to drop it here for the future. I am not currently playing my medieval save, so the above preview is just the texture. Feel free to edit, etc.
An old project that was in my WIP folder.
The Sims Medieval floor converted to TS3.
Here are some 4t3 terrains. 57 to be exact. These are not all terrains, only the ones I might use in my medieval save. There are also some converted floors that have been turned in to terrains.
Some are slightly edited in either color, or saturation, but the original TS4 version of the terrains I edited are still included.
There are two versions. They conflict with each other, so you can only have one!
Version 1: No alpha transparency. All transparency is handled in-game. This solves the “halo” effect around the terrain from the world terrain poking through when trying to blend terrains. I prefer this option, as the halo can be pretty noticeable in certain situations and/or with certain terrains.
Version 2: Alpha transparency.

I wanted to save my GraphicsRules for my future Sims 3 playthroughs, and I thought I’d share.
🚨 MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR GRAPHICSRULES BEFORE USING THIS!! I can’t stress this enough.
This is for version 1.69!
*Edit* I am now on 1.67 and this seems to work fine.
Found in: Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin
or
Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin
I don’t remember which is the default as I have mine in a custom location.
Installation for non-origin users:
Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin
Changes from the default are as follows:

I wasn’t able to find any name replacement mods that I wanted to use for my medieval save, so I made one! Let me just say this took way longer then I initially thought it would.
The names I chose are mainly medieval-ish (I used a lot of names from old, and middle English). I also used some sim names (or made names out of sim places), e.g. Dragon Valley, Henford on Bagley, etc. There’s a small fantasy element thrown in there as well. I tried to stick to ~sim lore~.
I’ve tried it out in my game, and it seems to be working fine, but there’s over 8,000 different strings (name possibilities, basically). I did duplicate most of the names to a degree. It should work with other languages, but I only played / tested in English.
I’m still messing around with it, but I need a break. So I thought I’d share this version.
Credits to lesbisim for the base mod (I changed all names).
I used Easy STBL Manager, Notepad++, and a ton of google.
And in case anyone else wants to change the names, line 3-1012 = Female, 1013-7266 = Surnames, 7267-8303 = Male. This is assuming you use the above programs to edit these.

A few more Fallout 4 terrain paints for TS3! These were originally converted to TS2 by davinaojeda
I have some more in the works, but I thought I’d release these now as they fit nicely together.
TS4 Cottage Living terrain paint “Stitched by Primrose” converted to TS3.
I used google translate for languages other than English for the name/info as S4S wasn’t showing me anything other than English. IDK how well it worked.
This is not a final mod.
Pictures on left are EA resolution, pictures on the right are upscaled. Top pictures are EA. Bottom is upscaled.
I want to share my upscaled pet fur & details (ears, mouth etc) in case anyone else might be interested in messing with it. Due to the websites limitations that I used, these are only 2K.
These are not edited in any way aside from upscaling and then slapping them into a package. There is some wonkiness (see the paws on the dog, ears are lighter, especially on cats). These are meant to be more of a resource for other cc makers, rather then a full fledged mod.
These textures come from lazyduchess‘ default textures.
The pet eyes are from hiddengnomes‘ DayDreaming defaults.

Default Beetle Eyes for Cats and Dogs! These use lazyduchess‘ default whiskers.
These are 4k.
Bug disclosure: I noticed some weird discoloration above the pupil at times, and I wasn’t able to fix it. I have also noticed LazyDuchess’ default pet texture seems to conflict with the catchlights.

Try this if you use lazyduchess’ default pet textures (you still need to download the eyes + this file): Download ❗ This is meant to replace the default textures, so delete lazyduchess’ version. Note this is only for these specific eye defaults. You will need to remove this file if you stop using these eye defaults!
I love lazyduchess‘ pet whiskers, and hiddengnomes‘ daydreaming defaults. This is my admittedly quick attempt to make them compatible. I also copied the cat defaults over to the dog eyes, so this is both for cats and dogs!
Eyes are 4k like the original.
Bug disclosure: I noticed some weird discoloration (example is different eyes, but it’s the same discoloration) above the pupil at times, and I wasn’t able to fix it.
I have also noticed LazyDuchess’ default pet texture seems to conflict with the catchlights.

Built, or (for my older packages) work with 1.69.
I’ve learned a new way of making these. I did not redo all of my packages as they still seem to work fine, and there are a TON. The new way also solved some of my previous issues, like build objects not being hidden anymore.
I tried to get most objects/build mode items, but there might still be a few stragglers. Feel free to report any you find in my ask. Some I intentionally stayed away from as they are the only one in the game that exists, and I might actually use. This isn’t consistent across all games as far as not hiding these “one in existence” items, as some I never intend to use any time soon, and I did hide. So just keep an eye out. They should still be in the Collections folders if you do miss any. Feel free to request a hider for any of these items. I don’t mind adding them in if someone else wants them hidden.
Read before downloading:
These will hide objects from showing in the buy/build/buy debug catalog. You can still find them in Collections. These do not remove any objects from in game, and will still show up as normal if they’ve already been placed in game, or if they come with a lot, etc.
I strongly suggest choosing wisely when it comes to what you want to hide, as hiding everything can be problematic. An example would be all Beds being hidden from the catalog.
These come with their thumbnail pictures where available to make it easier to pick and choose what to keep.
I would put these in your overrides folder, but they should still work if you don’t.

I converted peacemaker-ic‘s Moroccan Tiles to TS3.
The only thing I added was the mask, so it’s fully recolorable.
Both found under Tile.
I converted this back in the day, however I noticed some shadow issues that needed to be fixed. While I was at it, I also added a recolorable version, too.
This is still nonfunctional. It does have slots on the top, but nothing crazy (TSRW won’t stop crashing when I try to add slots).
I THINK it’s base game compatible.

These are some of my favorite walls, and since I am currently playing TS3 I decided to convert them.
They have 2 color channels, and a custom normal map. I made two color options, one being the one pictured above.
All credits go to Lina trappingsims2. All I did was make them work for TS3.

No Normals Version:
I made peacemaker-ic‘s Lustrous Metals color palette into Metal Patterns for TS3 for personal use (I took an EA metal pattern, and recolored it in every color+saved/exported them), but I thought I’d share in case anyone is lazy like me, and likes things to match.
They use an EA Metal Pattern that can tile in any direction. It’s slightly shiny, but not too over powering (imo).
All credits go to peacemaker-ic, and EA. All I did was copy+paste the color codes into TS3.

I highly suggest using darker colors on this, otherwise it won’t look so great.

I saw that davinaojeda had converted some really cool FO4 terrains (walls, & floors too) to TS2, so I decided to convert a few to TS3.
Terrains only, which are shown above. Click the picture to have a bigger preview.
I plan on doing more, but I’m gonna be playing TS4 for a bit due to the new EP so I figured I’d release these to get them off my desktop. :>
No in-game pictures this time, sorry!
