bioniczombie: A full moon from the video game The Sims 3. It looks slightly spooky. (Default)

I wasn’t able to find any name replacement mods that I wanted to use for my medieval save, so I made one! Let me just say this took way longer then I initially thought it would.

The names I chose are mainly medieval-ish (I used a lot of names from old, and middle English). I also used some sim names (or made names out of sim places), e.g. Dragon Valley, Henford on Bagley, etc. There’s a small fantasy element thrown in there as well. I tried to stick to ~sim lore~.

I’ve tried it out in my game, and it seems to be working fine, but there’s over 8,000 different strings (name possibilities, basically). I did duplicate most of the names to a degree. It should work with other languages, but I only played / tested in English.

I’m still messing around with it, but I need a break. So I thought I’d share this version.

Credits to lesbisim for the base mod (I changed all names).

I used Easy STBL Manager, Notepad++, and a ton of google.

And in case anyone else wants to change the names, line 3-1012 = Female, 1013-7266 = Surnames, 7267-8303 = Male. This is assuming you use the above programs to edit these.

42 more Fallout 4 terrains. These were originally converted to TS2 by davinaojeda

There are two versions. They conflict with each other, so you can only have one!

Version 1: No alpha transparency. All transparency is handled in-game. This solves the “halo” effect around the terrain from the world terrain poking through when trying to blend terrains. I prefer this option, as the halo can be pretty noticeable in certain situations and/or with certain terrains.

Version 2: Alpha transparency.

A few more Fallout 4 terrain paints for TS3! These were originally converted to TS2 by davinaojeda

I have some more in the works, but I thought I’d release these now as they fit nicely together.

Update 8/18/21
You can only have one version, not both! As they conflict.
No Transparency (transparency handled only in-game). Pure white alpha. This can solve the “halo” effect around the terrain from the world terrain poking through when trying to blend terrains.

TS4 Cottage Living terrain paint “Stitched by Primrose” converted to TS3.

I used google translate for languages other than English for the name/info as S4S wasn’t showing me anything other than English. IDK how well it worked.

**EXPERIMENTAL**

This is not a final mod.

Pictures on left are EA resolution, pictures on the right are upscaled. Top pictures are EA. Bottom is upscaled.

I want to share my upscaled pet fur & details (ears, mouth etc) in case anyone else might be interested in messing with it. Due to the websites limitations that I used, these are only 2K.

These are not edited in any way aside from upscaling and then slapping them into a package. There is some wonkiness (see the paws on the dog, ears are lighter, especially on cats). These are meant to be more of a resource for other cc makers, rather then a full fledged mod.

These textures come from lazyduchessdefault textures.

The pet eyes are from hiddengnomesDayDreaming defaults.
