bioniczombie: A full moon from the video game The Sims 3. It looks slightly spooky. (Default)

Thanks to mistysensation‘s post (which also has good info on how to use these properly, especially if you already have existing pets), I realized you can now have separate eyes thanks to the amazing work by magical-girl-sandbox! I’ve been wanting to convert nolan-sims daydreamin eyes for a while, and I took this as an opportunity to do just that. Unfortunately TS2′s tiny eye size destroys the quality. :(

  • These are nolan-sims original colors, aside from purple, and red. I did edit the pupil for the dog eyes.
  • I used the sclera from mistysensation’s post.
  • These have simnopke‘s fix included.

Many moons ago, livejournal was all the rage. Simblr wasn’t much of a thing yet. It was back then that I converted traelia‘s TS3 pet eyes [1] [2] to TS2, then eventually deleted my blog. poppet-sims‘ was kind enough to repost to make them easier to find.

I recently found out about magical-girl-sandbox‘s separate pet eyes. After I converted nolan-sims daydreamin eyes, I decided to do these too!

  • I have changed nothing about these from the original. I tried my best to put them under what I think was my intended colors.
  • What I have changed is these now work as separates thanks to magical-girl-sandbox.
  • These have simnopke‘s fix included.
  • Check out mistysensation‘s post for more info, including how to change existing pets eyes.

I really like deedee-sims’ plumbot clothes, but I have yet to mess around with making default meshes myself. I instead decided to take IaKoa’s Servo Default, and use deedee-sims default grey textures.

When using this, I also strongly recommend you get this mod, otherwise servos will still have a glowing ball.

I made dreadpirate‘s crystalline eyes v2 into pet separates!

All credit goes to dreadpirate, & magical-girl-sandbox. All I did was copy + paste. I suggest checking out this post for more info on pet separates!

Googling + using krabbysims‘ hair database I wasn’t able to find these in Poppet V2 (asymmetrical I could only find in Poppet Customs), so uh, here they are!

Female only. Asymmetrical is T-E. Bp Long Hair is C-E. Binned, and merged. Meshes are included.

I have updated and added some new object hiders for The Sims 3.

Built, or (for my older packages) work with 1.69.

I’ve learned a new way of making these. I did not redo all of my packages as they still seem to work fine, and there are a TON. The new way also solved some of my previous issues, like build objects not being hidden anymore.

I tried to get most objects/build mode items, but there might still be a few stragglers. Feel free to report any you find in my ask. Some I intentionally stayed away from as they are the only one in the game that exists, and I might actually use. This isn’t consistent across all games as far as not hiding these “one in existence” items, as some I never intend to use any time soon, and I did hide. So just keep an eye out. They should still be in the Collections folders if you do miss any. Feel free to request a hider for any of these items. I don’t mind adding them in if someone else wants them hidden.

Read before downloading:

These will hide objects from showing in the buy/build/buy debug catalog. You can still find them in Collections. These do not remove any objects from in game, and will still show up as normal if they’ve already been placed in game, or if they come with a lot, etc.

I strongly suggest choosing wisely when it comes to what you want to hide, as hiding everything can be problematic. An example would be all Beds being hidden from the catalog.

These come with their thumbnail pictures where available to make it easier to pick and choose what to keep.

I would put these in your overrides folder, but they should still work if you don’t.

I’m doubling down on my vintage inspired playthrough, so I made these recolors of forgottengrotto‘s liberated Vintage Dining Set.

  • 1 swatch, which is shown above.
  • Eco Living is required!
  • Mesh is required.

This is an old wallpaper of mine that I tried to make more “Maxis Match” to fit in with TS4′s aesthetic. I’m super creative with my names.

I made a recolor of mimoto-sims‘ floor conversion from RE3 based on peacemaker-ic‘s wood tones. They’re not an exact color replica as I did some fiddling.

With EA’s updated swatches, and TWH being updated to V2, I decided to recolor a bunch of hairs. Instead of taking previews for individual hairs like in the past, I’ve instead opted for updating google sheets for my own sanity. I will be updating the sheets, but I don’t plan on making a post every time I do this (though I may sometimes).

  • These come in ALL TWH V2 colors.
  • You can follow this tutorial to delete EA swatches from the mesh.

Edit: I’ve added a bunch of hairs, both by new and existing creators I already had on the sheet. I intend to keep adding more but recolors will probably slow down once Cottage Living releases. I’ve also added alternating colors on the sheet. It hopefully is colorblind friendly. Please let me know if that is not the case. Google told me blue and orange/brown, but I admittedly have no experience as I don’t have anyone that is colorblind in my family.

In celebration of Realm of Magic’s release, I bring you this converted lounge chair from TS3 Supernatural.

  • TS3 to TS4 conversion.
  • Swatches based on their TS3 counterparts.
  • Feel free to recolor, retexture, etc, just link link back for the mesh.

I do plan on recoloring the rest of this set at some point (kinda enjoying playing RoM atm).

❗️ I updated where Sims will sit when using the “sit” interaction. Because of this, it looks slightly odd when they go to sit (they “slide” over). I don’t think it’s immersion breaking, but I thought I’d mention it.

❗️ Also, the Sims will clip into the pillow. It’s not too bad for adults, but it’s noticeable with kids. It’s unavoidable due to the mesh, sorry.

It has been tested some in gameplay! However, since there are certain situations I didn’t encounter (pets scratching etc), it’s possible those may look odd.

peacemaker-ic (wood), ransie3 (fabric texture), Midnight Hollow colors (by myself, and currently an unreleased palette), and of course EA.

I said I’d recolor the rest of the set to match, and here they are. All swatches are based off the original TS3 lounge chair, and these were made to match my conversion.

I tried my best to make sure everything matches, but there might be slight differences as I stupidly didn’t save what values I used on the lounge chair.

You can find the original post with my Antique lounge chair conversion here. But you can also download it below.

Meshes are included due to adfly.

There’s a few annoying things I dislike about TS4. This is my attempt to learn how to fix them.

One of the top ones I hate is forced hand washing after using the toilet. Yeah, it’s kinda gross, but I think sim days in TS4 are already too short, so I’d rather they do something else if their hygiene isn’t low. I found a mod that does just this on MTS, however it didn’t look like it was being updated (last update was in 2018).

This is my first mod. While simple, consider it in testing as yeah, first and all. I did test it out in game for a short while, and it does seem to be working.

This will conflict with anything that changes the sink_washHands.InteractionTuning xml.

I am not sure how it will interact with the new “Bust the Dust” kit, as the new Aspirations add a milestone that asks for washing your hands after using the toilet and vise versa.
